The first year with your new baby can be exciting, overwhelming and exhausting. Your dog likely feels the same. Thankfully there are simple, practical things you can do to ensure a safe home where all are happy and thriving. 

Unlike books, posts, or videos, working with a specialist ensures that the unique needs of your family are taken into consideration. This small group setting allows us to address the topics that mean the most to you.

Where: Online (4 zoom sessions with homework and email support in between) - recorded if you cannot attend live

Suitable For: This course is geared towards parents who are expecting or have a child under the age of 3 and also have a dog in the home. This course will not address specific reactivity challenges and is more focused on prevention, safety, emotional support and inclusion.

Our goal: To give you an understanding of the safety concerns with dogs and kids and how to build a healthy relationship between them.

We explore: How dogs learn, how stress impacts their behaviour, success stations and other management strategies, grumble and growl zones, developmental considerations, baby equipment and kids toys, fun training games and inclusion activities.
